Expressive Acrylics Sampler Class
Thurs Sept 11, 18, 25 from 6:30–9 pm (Ages 15+)
Try your hand at three expressive projects in this fun and creative acrylic painting class. Explore new methods of building texture and using colour over the course of three evenings. Our instructor will guide you through painting with a new medium or expressive style each week and provide reference images and ideas to inspire your artwork. Beginner and intermediate painters are all welcome!

Saturday, Sept 13 from 12–2 pm
Métis People are known as the flower beadwork people! Learn the basics of beading using the single needle technique. Each participant will bead their own floral keychain.
3 SPOTS LEFT! Pottery – Wheel Throwing Level 2
Pottery Wheel Throwing Level 2: Sunday Sept 14 – Nov 23, from 1–4 pm
In this intermediate class, you must have throwing skills and be ready to learn new decorating and throwing techniques. You will advance your pottery wheel throwing skills by learning to create two-piece vessels, galleries, different types of lids, altered forms, plates, teapots and closed forms. Bring your creative ideas to class! Instructors will incorporate participant project requests and areas of interest into the class demonstrations as best they can.
Bead an Orange Shirt Day Pin
Saturday, September 20th, 10 am to 4 pm (14+)
Learn the basics of beading using the single-needle technique to make your own Orange Shirt Day pin and learn about the significance of Orange Shirt Day. All materials will be provided and no experience is required.

Heritage Harvest Festival
Join us for our popular annual Heritage Harvest Festival at St. Albert’s heritage sites. Everyone is welcome to this free event.
September 13 from 11 am–4 pm St. Albert's Historic River Lots + Grain Elevators (4 Meadowview Drive)
Tour the historic homes and grain elevators and take in other family-friendly activities: Petting zoo, face painting, heritage games, decorative pinwheels sampler class, Métis beading: simple floral keychain sampler class, pressed flower compositions sampler class, llve entertainment + more!
