Heritage Harvest Festival
Join us for our popular annual Heritage Harvest Festival at St. Albert’s heritage sites. Everyone is welcome to this free event.

We Are All Treaty People: Stitch your own Treaty 6 Needlework Sampler
Wednesday, October 1 to Wednesday, November 5 from 6–7:30 pm (14+)
What does it mean to be a Treaty person? What is the history and legacy of Treaty 6? And how do treaties continue to impact us all today? Over six weeks, explore what Treaty means to you by engaging in meaningful conversations, personal reflection and creating a needlework sampler. Each week, a different aspect of Treaty 6 will be discussed, and you will use the suggested patterns as a jumping off point to stitch a design in response to the topic.

Pottery Wheel Throwing Level 2: Sunday Sept 14 – Nov 23, from 1–4 pm
In this intermediate class, you must have throwing skills and be ready to learn new decorating and throwing techniques. You will advance your pottery wheel throwing skills by learning to create two-piece vessels, galleries, different types of lids, altered forms, plates, teapots and closed forms. Bring your creative ideas to class! Instructors will incorporate participant project requests and areas of interest into the class demonstrations as best they can.

Bead an Orange Shirt Day Pin
Saturday, September 20th, 10 am to 4 pm (14+)
Learn the basics of beading using the single-needle technique to make your own Orange Shirt Day pin and learn about the significance of Orange Shirt Day. All materials will be provided and no experience is required.

Mondays Sept 15, 22, 29, Oct 6 from 6:30–9 pm (15+)
This four-week mixed media class invites you to create art, inspired by four influential artists: Wassily Kandinsky, George Seurat, Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe.
