Robin Good (she/her) is a full-time traditional visual artist based in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. She primarily paints expressive and colourful animal portraits using acrylic on canvas. Working meticulously in a realistic style, using a contemporary and limited colour palette, never black. Drawing her inspiration from animals, and how much we can relate to them. Created from a need to cope with the stressors of personal life, and the tumultuous state of the world we live in. The need for fun, joy, and humour to combat fear, anxiety, and dread helped Robin survive, process her feelings and experiences, and thrive with her new-found community. Transforming her personal, emotional struggles into art that can bring joy, and heal.
