Jill Nuckles, founder of Little Felt Factory, creates whimsical keepsakes, purses, ornaments and giftware. Each piece is unique and makes the perfect gift to put a smile on someone’s face!
At her core, Jill Nuckles is a participant and observer of outdoor spaces, strongly influenced by her rural upbringing on a farm north of St. Albert. She is a collector of textures, light, and the world's hum who never outgrew the excitement of just being outside. Jill’s whimsical work pays homage to these spaces, and her art practice is an invitation to join her as she weaves intricate narratives about the more-than-human world.
Jill is a multimedia artist who livesin Calgary, Alberta, a place for a much longer time called Mohk'insstsis. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art (with Distinction) in Sculpture from Alberta University for the Arts in Calgary. Always curious about new techniques and materials,she has continued to learn and grow her craft through numerous workshops and residencies.Jill is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts at the University of New Mexico.
