Maggie believes being crafty and being environmentally conscious are not mutually exclusive. Textile waste is a huge global issue, and being eco-conscious is extremely important even at an individual level. Through her creative use of pre-loved, vintage fabrics, reclaimed zippers and fabric scraps Maggie is taking steps toward sustainability and doing what she can to not add to this problem.
