Figure Drawing – Open Studio
Tuesday, October 21 from 6:30–9 pm
Come practice your figure drawing in this non-instructional model session! Working from the live model, you can explore figure drawing as you wish, using your favorite materials. Studio equipment such as standing easels, table easels, boards, newsprint paper and pencils will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own paper and media for exploration. An instructor will be on hand to set the pose, lights, and tend to the model.
In these 2.5-hour sessions we will have a quick gesture warm up and then either 1 or 2 poses, breaking midway for 10 minutes.
School’s Out – Family Drop-In Parented Session
Join us at the 1948 Little White School in Mission Park! Each day a different theme will have kids exploring the historic building and interacting with museum objects through games and activities.
Bring the whole family to the Little White School for parented-drop-in programs.
Bead a Poppy Pin (two day workshop)
Tuesday, October 28 and Thursday October 30 from 6–8 pm
Join us at Musée Héritage Museum for a two-part workshop and learn the basics of beading using the single needle technique. Each participant will bead their own Remembrance Day poppy pin. All materials will be provided.

Additionally, visit the Art Gallery of St. Albert for a free family-friendly art activity in our Art Nook, featuring hands-on arts and crafts that complement our current exhibitions, with activities varying every month.
