Hidden Histories

No reviews

Bring your class to St. Albert’s Historic River Lots + Grain Elevators this June to explore St. Albert’s Métis history through archaeology!

In this 1-hour field trip opportunity, students will explore our historic Métis homes and go behind-the-scenes of an archeological field school facilitated by the University of Alberta’s Institute for Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology (IPIA).

Program activities will vary based on age, weather & what’s happening at the field school that day.

Share the history of St. Albert with your students by revealing the hidden histories beneath their feet!
