Hear Our Voices: Michel People and Residential Schools

July 8 to October 2 at the Little White School

Wednesdays to Fridays, 11 am to 4 pm 

The Friends of Michel Society, in collaboration with the Musée Héritage Museum and the City of St. Albert present this exhibit - brought back for a special showing at the Little White School.

Michel People share their stories as direct Survivors and intergenerational Survivors of Residential Schools. The exhibition also provides information about Residential Schools and focuses on those institutions where Michel’s children were taken.

For some people of the former Michel Band #472, this is the first opportunity to share their experiences outside of their immediate families.
