FREE hands-on workshop experience for students, led by renowned Edmonton artist Elsa Robinson

(Presented in conjunction with Robinson’s immersive fiber art exhibition The Garden). 

Students will explore The Garden, and then listen to traditional Jamaican folk stories told by Elsa, the artist. Afterwards, she will guide them in creating their own artwork to add to the exhibition. Students will consider their own history, ancestry and their connections to each other. Their work will continue to be part of The Garden, until March 15.

 

Available dates and times: 

  • Friday, February 21 from 9:30–11 am or 1 –2:30 pm. 
  • Wednesday, March 5 from 9:30–11 am or 1–2:30 pm.

 

All grades welcome. Max class size: 30 students

All materials are provided. *Bussing not included.
