Culture Days Information for Schools
Limited Opportunity - FREE In School Programs with Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert We're offering two FREE in-school programs to select schools who book in September, funded through Alberta Culture Days.
For pre-k to grade 1 students, children create their own felt book using simple shapes to form people, places and things. Or explore Wonderful Watercolours with grades 4 through 6, allowing each student to create colourful paintings of animals, plants or landscapes. There are only two programs available so book today to reserve your class's spot!

School Program I – My Shapes and Sizes Book: Children learn how shapes can be used to form people, places and things. They create their own special felt book using felt shapes and tell a story through images. The concepts of shape, form, space and size will be introduced.
- Location: In-School Duration: 1.5
- Hours: 9:30–11 am
- Registered Program: Maximum 30 students
- Ages: pre-k, K, grade 1
School Program II – Wonderful Watercolours: Students learn the basics of working with colour through watercolour paints. The instructor will lead students through a series of techniques to create colourful paintings of animals, plants or landscapes.
- Location: In-School Duration: 1.5
- Hours: 12–1:30 pm
- Registered Program: Maximum 30 students
- Ages: Grade 4, 5, 6
