My Masterpieces

Grade(s): Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1

Program Delivery: In School

Children explore colour, shape and texture with paint, collage and a variety of fun techniques. Inspired by the works of celebrated artists, they create their own great masterpieces. The number of activities will depend on the children’s age and class size.


Please note that this program is available as an in school field trip only.


  • Art: refining forms, creative process, expression and celebration, fine and gross motor skill development
  • Science: colours, shapes, seasons, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making

  • Begins to discover that many objects in daily life are designed or created by artists; e.g., picture books, pottery, paintings and sculpture
