Julie is a St. Albert artist who takes inspiration from both the natural world and the neighbourhoods she visits with her camera and sketchbook.
This richly coloured piece was painted "en plein air" meaning "in the open air," The practice of painting outdoors to capture the immediate, changing qualities of natural light and atmosphere.
