Innovation Tour
Meet at Train Station
Experience agricultural innovation by touring the beautifully restored 1906 and 1929 grain elevators. Discover how these giant wooden machines innovated agricultural production across the prairies. Then, check out historic tractor and farm equipment collections before visiting the replica Train Station for some hands-on activities.

Meet at Museum
Communities shape landscape and the landscape shapes communities. On this guided walk you will hear stories about how the Sturgeon River has supported growing communities for the past 5,000 years and how the area has evolved.

Meet at Museum
Join staff on a walking tour that explores the many uses of plants that grow along the Sturgeon River. Learn about the historical and contemporary relationship between plants and Indigenous peoples.

Meet at Father Lacombe Chapel
Interpreters will share the history of the chapel building and take you on a tour of the historic bells, grotto and St. Alberta’s historic cemetery.
