Musée Héritage Museum

The Musée Héritage Museum is in iconic St. Albert Place (designed by Douglas Cardinal) nestled along the Sturgeon River. There is always something new to experience with free entry and activities for all ages.

When museum visitors enter, they first approach the Museum Gift Shop, and then explore St. Albert's diverse history and heritage in the History Gallery. The nearby Feature Space showcases exhibitions that are changed through the year, along with the Discovery Room which provides interactive activities.

The museum is also home to St. Albert’s Archives, including a Research Station, dedicated to Dorothy Chartrand. She was born in St. Albert and among the first Métis women from Alberta to serve in the Second World War. Chartrand's adventurous life, including a passion for genealogy led to a great relationship with museum staff. Upon her passing in 2013 she bequeathed a donation, which was used to build the research station.

Barrier-free access with ramp.
