Lynn LeCorre has recently returned to her hometown St. Albert, after decades of living in across Alberta in various communities. Her landscape paintings are created ‘en plein aire’ and her mixed media drawings and felted landscapes are inspired by sketches and studies from nature. She has lived and painted her way through northern, southern and central Alberta while advocating for the arts in her varied career as an art and museum educator and cultural administrator. She received her Bachelor of Education with an art major from the University of Alberta and a Visual Arts diploma from Grant MacEwan College. She is an accomplished art gallery and museum educator and cultural coordinator. She currently works as an Art Program Coordinator with the City of Edmonton. She has exhibited her work in numerous group and solo shows across Alberta and Northern B.C. Her work has been published in the Art of the Peace magazine as the cover artist for 2013. Her work can be found in public and private collections throughout Alberta and beyond.
