Arts and Heritage Foundation St. Albert
En Plein Air Oil Pastels + Sketching
Ages: 15+
Location: St. Albert Historic River Lots + Grain Elevators
Treat yourself to a beautiful evening of creating art outdoors at St. Albert’s Historic River Lots + Grain Elevators. Our instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of outdoor sketching and oil pastel techniques including composition, colour blending, shading and perspective. You can choose to create one larger artwork during this program or a variety of smaller vignettes. This class welcomes all skill levels.
Artworks created during the program will have the chance to be displayed in a pop-up art exhibition in the St. Albert Grain Elevator Train Station following the program! All art supplies including oil pastels, paper, pencils and other sketching materials will be provided.
