Mod Pots Contemporary Ceramics

Denise Ahlefeldt graduated from the University of Alberta in 1997 with a Bachelor of Design degree; since graduation she has worked as a professional graphic designer in Edmonton. Ahlefeldt discovered clay as an artistic medium in 2007, and has spent the past few years developing her skills as a ceramicist. With clay as her canvas, Ahlefeldt allows her designer’s sensibility to inform her work through a keen eye for color, pattern, texture, and illustration. Her line of functional pottery, Mod Pots Contemporary Ceramics, is unique with just a touch of nostalgia.
