Day: Thursdays
Time: 1:30–3 pm (1.5 hours per class)
Series Fee: $60/child per month (4 classes) 
Location: Visual Art Studios, Painting Studio, St. Albert Place, 5 St. Anne Street

NOTE: Please contact our Registrar ( 780-459-1163) if you are a Homeschool parent interested in organizing a group of 10 children to take part in a visual art field trip of your choice. The minimum fee to book group art programs on select weekday afternoons from September to June is $150. 


    Upcoming Classes 

    • October 31: Acrylic Supplies-Learn the basics of acrylic painting supplies and how they can be used. Try different types of papers, brands of paint, additives for various effects, tools and brushes
    • November 7: Acrylic Techniques–Experiment with a brush and then a palette knife. Water versus no water, gels and varnishes will be de-mystified by our knowledgeable and patient instructor. 
    • November 14: Abstracted Canvas–Create a unique piece of art using tips and tricks from previous classes. Focus on primary, secondary, contrasting colours, tints and shades to create visual excitement! 
    • November 21: Still life–Bring in a special object and learn how to paint it in three dimensions by focusing on light and shadow.
