From trash to treasures, bones to beads, there is always more to learn from the land beneath our feet.
In May + June 2023, the University of Alberta’s Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology (IPIA) will be holding an archaeological field school at St. Albert’s Historic River Lots.
Join Métis archaeologist Dr. Kisha Supernant, IPIA Director and Professor of Anthropology at the U of A, and the field school students for a chat about the Métis archaeological footprint and what has been unearthed at St. Albert’s Historic River Lots.
