Fibre Arts – Hand Carding + Drop Spindles

Instructor: Elana Goodfellow

Learn how to prepare and spin various fibres using hand carders and drop spindles. All materials will be provided, including a spindle, 150 grams of fibre and a booklet to take home! No experience is required. 

Note: the course will include a one-hour lunch break with fridge and microwave available onsite. 

Elana Goodfellow has been hand spinning for 12 years and has acquired her Master Spinner Certification from Olds College. Her passion is exploring, continuing and revitalizing the art and craft of the past. Teaching, writing and sharing hand-spinning techniques are part of that journey.
