Spring: Creative Circle

Are you looking for a new creative outlet? Join us monthly to experiment with a new art medium or technique. In each class we present a different project, inspired by our current exhibition. This creative program for adults includes professional instruction, and artist-grade materials.

Upcoming Classes

April 20th: Pen and Watercolour Landscapes 

Start by sketching out your landscape with pen, then watch your painting come to life as we add layers of beautiful watercolour paint. Reference photos will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring a few landscape photos of their choosing to work from! 

May 18th: Clay Pinch Pot Planters 

Experiment with pinch pot and coil hand building techniques and build your own whimsical plant pots! Plant pots will glazed by the instructor and fired in our kilns following the class.  

June 15th: Bookmaking 

Try out a simple and elegant bookmaking project in this session of Creative Circle. We will explore mark-making and decorate our book covers, as well as learn some basic techniques for assembling and binding books using waxed thread.
