MoonK is a Korean-Canadian potter, painter and crafter. She studied Ceramic Arts at Dong-A University in Busan, Korea andhas worked as an art teacher in both Korea and Canada. Her passion for pottery began when she was a child, molding things with her hands. While she was studying in university, Moon knew that someday she wanted to build a business with art and pottery.
MoonKStudio pottery blends Canadian and Korean styles. Each piece starts off as a familiar piece of Canadian-style tableware or decorative art that is then decorated with traditional Korean patterns and designs that symbolize good fortune, prosperity, good health and happiness.
