Get out of the cold and into our cozy Gallery and Museum spaces during the annual Snowflake Festival on Perron Street on December 1 from 6–9 pm. Make your own paper or pipe cleaner/bead snowflakes hosted by museum staff in St. Albert Place. In the art gallery, take in an iSpy activity, and enjoy making take home art creations inspired by snowflakes or the staircase feature exhibition, Inter Mundos. Enjoy candy canes and hot beverages. Meet your Instructor: Maria Nelson
Meet your instructor for our December 2 "Bead a Snowflake Pin" course! Maria Nelson is a Métis-Ukrainian woman from Redwater, Alberta with Métis community connections from Saskatchewan and Red River. She has a love of beading and creating spaces that can share history in an accessible way.

Featured Field Trip: Exploring Art
Exploring Art Tours are designed for teachers, students and community groups searching for a multidisciplinary art experience within the setting of a fun and welcoming contemporary public art gallery in the heart of downtown St. Albert.
We will learn all about the art and artworks in our main exhibitions by looking and asking questions, participating in fun guided activities and creating your own personally inspired art!
